About Woodmill Farm
Woodmill Farm sits in a peaceful, tranquil spot in the beautiful North Shropshire countryside where our four individually designed stunning cabins and lodges sit within approximately 20 acres of lake, woodland fields and streams for you to explore. Also featured is a large patio with solid timber framed BBQ hut with a wood-fired pizza oven overlooking the pool. The BBQ Hut is open fronted with inset corrugated tin bar area, with large a solid timber worktop/bar seating area.
We are located at the end of a 1/2 mile, quiet unadopted lane, and are easily accessible from Staffordshire, Cheshire, North Wales, the Midlands and beyond.

More Information
Our new in ’22 glamping site also has a small modern, working sawmill and has produced all the timber for each of our solid structures. Each of our cabins has been designed, built and individually styled by us.
The Geo-Dome, Summerhouse and Kingfisher Cabin are set around the lake, each with their own view and where the huge variety of interesting bird and wildlife gather, including a Kingfisher family, Little Grebe and Tufted Ducks. We are also lucky enough to have an Otter family visit most days. The Shepherd’s Rest stands on its own in the Oak tree field fronted by the willow-lined stream.
We have rare breed chickens for eggs and grow lot’s of our own fruit, vegetables and herbs in our kitchen garden & polytunnel.

Access to your accommodation is reached by foot via the gravelled pathways. We can transport your belongings for you with our utility buggy.
We can accommodate up to 16* people for the possibility of group bookings for all 4 units for birthday celebrations, reunions, families and so on. Use of large vintage/industrial style BBQ hut with large charcoal BBQ, Pig roast burner, pizza oven and sit-up bar area, table and chairs. Lit with fairy lights inside which can be decorated and set for special occasions (extra charges apply).
We do not have adequate wi-fi signal and therefore do not offer the facility.
We have tried our best to leave the landscape as natural as possible. We have a lot of open water areas with no fencing/barriers. We feel that Woodmill Farm may not be suitable for younger children. Children under 16 must be always supervised.
Hot tubs are not available just yet but will be part of the intended future evolvement of Shropshire Glamping.
