Thank you for choosing to book your break with us. We very much look forward to welcoming you and want you to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. We would be grateful if you take a few moments to read the boring bit.
By making this booking you are entering an agreement with Shropshire Glamping. For telephone bookings you have 24 hours to let us know if you do not agree to our terms and conditions, otherwise, we will assume your acceptance of them.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION & PAYMENT
The price quoted is unique to each individual accommodation. Linen, pillows and towels will be provided for 2 persons staying in the Shepherd’s Hut, and for up to 4 persons (if required) in the Kingfisher Pod, Geo-Dome and Summerhouse.
A 25% deposit payment is required at the point of booking and the balance is to be paid no later than 6 weeks (42 days) prior to the start of your holiday.
Acceptance of the booking and initial payment forms the legal contract between yourself and Shropshire Glamping and by making the booking you are confirming that you are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons named in the booking and you are acknowledging that all members of your party agree to be bound by these booking terms & conditions.
You are also confirming that the person making the booking is over the age of 18.
All bookings are confirmed by email and links for additional information, directions and maps etc are sent when the balance is paid.
Payment can be made using the online booking system on the website or direct BACS bank transfer. ‘Extras’ can be paid for during your stay.
Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in the cancellation of your booking and will be treated as a cancellation by you according to the terms below.
CANCELLATION, AMENDMENTS & INSURANCE
Guests can cancel up to 6 weeks (42 days) days prior to the start date of the booking. Please note that the 25% deposit payment taken at the time of booking is non-refundable, where booking payments is made in full before 6 weeks (42 days), a cancellation fee of 25% will be deducted from the refund.
Cancellations within 6 weeks (42 days) of the first day of your booking will incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the value of your stay depending on if we are able to rebook the hut. We would strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover any cost should you have to cancel for any reason outside your control.
Should you wish to amend the date of your booking we require at least 42 days notice prior to your arrival date. We will try our best to accommodate your first date change free of charge, but we may have to charge a £25 admin fee in some circumstances.
We cannot be held responsible for cancelling your booking as a result of your failure to comply with any requirement of our booking terms & conditions, and we cannot be held liable for any expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any change or cancellation.
ARRIVAL & PARKING
Your accommodation will be available to you from 3pm on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time. Parking arrangements for each of our units is individual, so please read the ‘When you Arrive’ information which will be sent to you when the final payment is received.
BREAKAGES AND DAMAGE
We will have thoroughly cleaned and checked your accommodation prior to your arrival, however on your arrival you find any items, fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery are broken, damaged or missing, or something you may not be happy with, please report it to us as soon as you can.
Should anything get broken during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report it to us. Normal wear and tear are to be expected but should any significant damage or breakage occur during the period of your stay you will be held responsible and a charge may be made for replacement or repair.
NEGLIGENCE
Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the accommodation or other parts of the site caused by negligence.
Open flame, i.e. candles and tea lights are not permitted inside the units.
Please use the glass lanterns provided.
Please do not leave anything on or rested against the wood burners.
Please do not extinguish the fire in the burners with water as this can cause damage.
LIABILITY
Shropshire Glamping accepts no responsibility for injury incurred anywhere on the site or in the accommodation. We have large open, unfenced areas of water around the lake (no swimming permitted) and streams. We are a working Woodmill operating dangerous machinery. Please take care when exploring the site and do not enter any areas where you are expressly asked not to.
LOST/STOLEN PROPERTY
You are responsible for your personal property, possessions and vehicle whilst you are staying at Woodmill Farm. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to any of these.
NO SMOKING POLICY
For health and safety and for the enjoyment of all our guests, we request that guests wishing to smoke/vape do so outside and away from the entrance to the accommodation. Cigarette ends must be disposed of carefully into the rubbish bins and not on the ground.
CHILDREN
Due to the open water aspect including the lake and surrounding streams, Shropshire Glamping at Woodmill Farm insists any bookings made that include children under the age of 16, agree to supervise them at ALL times.
DOGS
Well-behaved dogs are welcome (restricted to 2) They must not be allowed onto the furniture or bed. Keep under control at all times and do not leave your dog alone in the accommodation. You are responsible for any damages caused to the property by your dog.
You MUST clean up all dog poo and dispose of it properly. Do not allow them to chase the birds!
Please bring your own dog bed/blanket, feeding and drinking bowls. Dogs must not be left unsupervised in the accommodation.
ADDITIONAL DAY/EVENING GUESTS
For the peace and enjoyment of other guests, please do not invite additional day or evening guests onto the site without prior arrangement with us.
UPON LEAVING
Please vacate your accommodation by 11am.
We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where the accommodation has been left in an unacceptable condition.
Whilst we do not expect a thorough clean to be carried out, we respectfully ask that all crockery and cutlery/utensils are washed, and all waste and litter is bagged, tied and placed into the outside bin or left inside the property tied in the bags.
